Despite the steady stream of travel photos, I do keep constantly reminding myself that my main priority first and foremost is to make art. Here's the first of many (fingers crossed). I worked from a photo taken just a few steps from the back door of the weeds and grass growing like crazy all around the place. The greenery of everything seems pretty indicative of the permanent light of summer.
I'm not unhappy with it, but I feel like I have a tendency to fall back on old habits when I'm acclimatising/still figuring things out. This is perhaps a bit TOO similar to old work, but it's a start.
